What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, in accordance with company protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or findings to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry to restricted areas as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and management, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Support a secure environment in a technology-focused workplace by maintaining awareness of relevant site-specific guidelines and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
