Ventus Solutions is seeking a Delivery Assurance Specialist with expertise in metal casting. This immediate opportunity is ideal for a someone experienced in addressing challenges in manufacturing, supply chain and quality assurance with a focus on large-scale castings. The selected candidate will be part of a fly-away team performing on-site quality assurance (QA) at manufacturing facilities. This role is vital for ensuring the quality and integrity of metal castings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, casting processes, non-destructive testing, and the capability to collaborate with multiple departments to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to specification Work Location: Remote with field assignments as needed.Travel: >90%

Required Experience

10+ years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain management, with a focus on industrial and maritime industries.
Expertise in large casting processes, including gating and tooling.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex manufacturing and supply chain issues.
Experience with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or industrial sectors, managing diverse stakeholders effectively.
Strong proficiency in Key Performance Indicators (KPI) management, Lean methodologies and shop floor collaboration.
Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and material/production planning.

Desired Experience

Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain.
Maritime or shipbuilding industry experience.
Knowledge of cost reduction techniques, such as Should Cost or Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) methodologies.
Secret Security Clearance
Certification in Non-Destructive Testing Methods
