Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Engage in family outreach and school-based activities.
  • Participate in professional development and training.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to implement IEP goals.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Document student progress and behavioral observations.

Ideal Candidates Have:

  • High school diploma/GED or higher (experience in special education preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience working with students with special needs or autism.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children succeed.
