Description
We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to scale medical devices and technologies from launch to high volume, sustainable, international commercial deployments. You’ll bring together a cross-functional team comprising engineers, operations, and clinical stakeholders. Activities will include participating in technical and clinical operations meetings, enhancing the product experience through feedback monitoring, interacting with third party development and manufacturing partners and facilitating communication between teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide the required hands-on project management of engineering program deliverables, cross-functional coordination and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding product outcomes.
- Manage complex schedules that involve large, cross-functional teams and prioritize activities for quick execution of critical path work items.
- Collaborate with internal organizations (Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Legal, Customer Success) to enable product releases and drive quality through every step of the commercial scaling up process.
- Use your technical background to contribute to failure analysis on returned devices and funnel feedback to inform data-driven iterative design improvements
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of technical program management experience.
- Direct experience in developing and launching devices in a regulated industry.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with a track record of handling multiple programs and streams of work.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's in a technical field.
- Experience working with products incorporating hardware, firmware, and software.
- Experience in the medical device or clinical research industry.
- Ability to contribute to technical discussions and exercise technical and product judgment to independently resolve project issues and mitigate development risks.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $109,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
