About the role
PROCEPT BioRobotics is a surgical robotics company enabling better patient care by developing transformative solutions in urology. With an initial focus on BPH, the company’s AquaBeam® Robotic System delivering Aquablation therapy, is the first FDA-cleared, automated surgical robot for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Aquablation therapy combines real-time, multi-dimensional imaging, automated robotics and heat-free waterjet ablation for targeted, controlled, and immediate removal of prostate tissue. Aquablation therapy offers predictable and reproducible outcomes, independent of prostate anatomy, prostate size or surgeon experience.
SUMMARY
The Materials Handler II will co-ordinate the flow of materials from Quality Inspection or Receiving into the Inventory areas. Creates and kits work orders that provide on-time delivery to the production team. Supports materials to the R&D and other departments to complete their tasks and completes a daily cycle count. This role will report to the Manager, Warehouse and Logistics.

SUMMARY
The Materials Handler II will co-ordinate the flow of materials from Quality Inspection or Receiving into the Inventory areas. This role will report to the Manager, Warehouse and Logistics.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participating in or leading the daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Prepare outbound shipments: retrieving and palletizing goods.
- Fulfill parts for the work orders.
- Expedite items when needed to fill work order shortages.
- Maintain inventory and associated records for raw materials, intermediates, disposables, and spare parts.
- Contact and deliver product to the appropriate persons/departments.
- Communicate part shortages or issues to the Warehouse & Logistics team.
- May be required to enter the cleanroom to issue or count parts.
- Operate a pallet jack.
- Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state.
- Maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, Certifications)

- Minimum of 1 year warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment or within the medical device or Pharmaceutical industry or any other regulated industry.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Naturally energetic, positive and customer service-oriented in a fast-paced, rapid-growth environment.
- Proactive self-starter with a penchant for creative problem-solving and excellent team-working skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and across all functions.
- Working knowledge of ERP programs at the user level. QAD experience a plus.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced small company environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities.
- Familiar with the SOP’s.
