Summary:

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Security Cooperation Administrative Specialist to support United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) in Tampa, FL. This role provides mission‑critical administrative support to United States Military Groups (USMILGPs) / Security Cooperation Organizations (SCOs) across the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility, enabling effective personnel, operations, and coordination functions throughout the region. This is a great opportunity for candidates with military HR, joint staff administration, Security Cooperation, or geographically dispersed personnel support experience.

What You Will Do:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to USMILGPs/SCOs across the USCENTCOM AOR, resolving issues related to pay, travel, leave, awards, evaluations, and personnel records.

• Organize, manage, and resolve a wide range of administrative actions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations.

• Serve as the primary point of contact between USCENTCOM Headquarters, USMILGPs, and the Defense Security Cooperation Service (DSCS), ensuring seamless communication and coordination.

• Maintain current knowledge of military and civilian pay and entitlements, personnel systems, position management, and in‑/out‑processing procedures across all military services.

• Prepare and deliver clear, concise briefings to senior leadership on USMILGP administrative actions, trends, and initiatives.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with USCENTCOM partner organizations to support planning, synchronization, and execution of events and administrative functions.

What We're Looking For:

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working at a major command, combatant command, or service‑level headquarters; experience in the USCENTCOM AOR highly preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to develop clear and concise briefings for senior military and civilian leadership.

• Strong understanding of USCENTCOM organizational structures, roles, and processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; HII may request a writing sample.

• Strong research, analysis, and data management skills.

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other administrative systems.

Relevant Backgrounds (Not required to apply)
• Experience supporting Security Cooperation Offices (SCOs), United States Military Groups (USMILGPs), Offices of Defense Cooperation, or other embassy‑aligned DoD organizations.
• Prior work within USCENTCOM, especially within directorates such as J1, J3, or J5.
