To provide leadership and bear administrative responsibility for a multi-faceted community mental health and substance abuse services nonprofit corporation. A proven track record in strategic planning, fundraising, and financial management. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. Experience in working with boards, other nonprofits, local businesses, and stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's in business administration (MBA), Master's of Science (Health Administration) or Master's in Nonprofit Management with 2- or 4-years professional health care managerial experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with major course work that includes human services studies with five years professional health care managerial experience.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assist the Governing Board in examining, deliberating, and developing polices and policy governance.
- Implements the policies of the Board of Directors through personnel actions and through exercise of executive authority over the resources and personnel of the Corporation.
- Contributes to the Board’s effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues to be addressed; providing information and commentary pertinent to the Board’s deliberations, recommending options and courses of action; implementing directions.
- Coordinates all corporate activities as guided by the rules and regulations promulgated by the State of Florida Department of Children and Families, and the Charter and By-laws of the Corporation.
- Serves as a member of the Board of Directors and all committees of the Corporation with power of vote.
Recommends and formulates implementation of financial policies beneficial to the Corporation, which serve to maintain fiscal responsibility.
- Demonstrates the ability to assume the necessary responsibility in guiding the Corporation towards fulfillment of its proposed financial goals.
Assures that the service programs meet the needs of the community.
- Facilitates the formulation and implementation of the Corporation’s service delivery operations.
- Promotes and represents the Corporation in the community to various community leaders, individuals, governmental bodies, funding agencies, other sponsoring groups and related service agencies.
- Seeks opportunities to develop/enhance/enrich programs in keeping with the Corporation’s mission/vision.
- Identifies and develops collaborative enterprises and new target populations as appropriate.
- Clinical operations are conducted in accordance with community standards and the Corporation’s protocol for conducting these services.
Responsible as sole staff authority to interpret policies of the Board and sole authority, acting within limitations set forth by Board policies, to direct the actions of staff, assign and utilize resources, employ and discharge staff, and design organizational structures and functions.
- Demonstrates the ability to direct the actions of staff and utilize available resources to support the organizational mission, vision and strategic plan.
Exhibits effective administrative and leadership skills.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to recognize, establish and deal with administrative priorities in a prompt manner.

- Demonstrates the ability to respond to changing circumstances in a manner so as to maximize the opportunity and minimize the problem as appropriate.
- Acts decisively and takes effective action appropriate to the circumstances.
