What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, potential hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Carry and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with post orders and applicable requirements, while supporting security-related procedures during patrols, inspections, and incident response.
• Monitor entrances, exits, gates, and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
