Summary:
Join our IT Infrastructure Architecture team to support the global organization in the evaluation, design, and implementation of our network technologies. As a leader in the IT Infrastructure Architecture team, you will design and guide improvements in our network, while continually improving performance, security, and resilience.

Responsibilities:
- Assess business and application requirements for corporate data and voice networks
- Plan, design, document, and implement network installation and expansion projects in collaboration with other architecture and engineering teams
- Set documentation standards and lead their adoption as appropriate.
- Evaluate new technologies, understand their benefits and how they fit within the scope of environment.
- Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Data Center technologies and inter-connectivity
- AWS networking and other cloud technologies
- Requirements driven Architecture working with cross-functional teams
- SD-WAN background, preferably Aruba/SilverPeak
- Strong security focus and every level of networking component including Palo Alto, SD-WAN, wireless, and zero-trust security.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior network engineers on the team
- Assist in troubleshooting severe network issues, finding root cause, and recommending improvements
Qualifications:
- 12+ years experience in Network Engineering and Architecture
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other related field
- Deep understanding of relevant LAN, WAN, Wireless, SD-WAN technologies. Strong interest in new technologies entering the marketplace.
- Expertise in firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, DHCP, TCP/IP, DNS, and device configuration and maintenance.
- Experience with Silverpeak, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Aruba preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills—you clearly express your thoughts in both written and oral presentation.
- Adept at working both collaboratively as a leader, and individual
- Demonstrate ownership of designs and results
- Familiar with ITILv4, specifically Incident and Change Management
- Experience working with Agile project methodologies and framework
- Strong routing background with Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)

Associated to any US Qorvo location
Less than 10% on-site / travel required.

Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $160,500 - $208,700, relevant for the California Bay Area (subject to change dependent on physical location)
