Job Summary: The Maintenance Lead performs and leads maintenance services and repairs in multiple skill areas and is responsible for the facility being always maintained in good repair. The Lead will repair and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, interior and exterior building surfaces. This individual will paint, repair flooring, and work on plumbing, electrical, and air-conditioning and heating systems. In the event of an emergency the Lead may be called to support necessary tasks in association with that emergency. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but St. Paul’s Senior Services may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ depending on business necessities and site requirements.


Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Trade school courses and/or experience leading others or teams preferred

Experience:

• 5 years minimum experience in general maintenance including the following fields: painting, tile, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances.
• Up to date OSHA 10-hour training certification preferred.
• Journeyman level expertise or proficient knowledge in the above trades.
• Holds appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state in which work is to be preformed
