What You’ll Do:
- As an accounting leader and team player, contribute to the management of the business; lead and manage projects effectively, make excellent decisions, and improve the service level and productivity of the accounting department and the back-office support functions.
- Participate and control the month-end close process and the preparation and reporting of timely, monthly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP to management.
- Provide technical advice on accounting standards and offer expert technical advice to accounting team members and other employees.
- Manage external audits and coordinate responses to auditors.
- Research and resolve US GAAP accounting issues with the SVP Corporate Controller and participate in the preparation and filing of year end audit.
- Oversee the monthly review of account analysis for all accounting areas including revenues and cogs, accounts receivable, inventory, capitalized software, accounts payable, warranty accruals, fixed assets, intangibles, accruals and prepaid assets, etc.
- Prepare accurate, timely monthly and quarterly financial statements and management reports for Senior Management and the Board of Directors.
- Implement and direct financial policies/procedures for all reporting units, in particular the foreign subsidiaries.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies and proactively question processes and procedures and implement change to gain efficiencies and streamline workflows.
- Provide an excellent reporting and analysis service to operating divisions, departments, and corporations.
- Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; manage and develop staff, including building, coaching, and mentoring the accounting team.
- Perform various analyses and ad hoc projects as necessary.
- Provide effective leadership, management, feedback and support to direct reports.
- Actively participate in Transfer Pricing policy and all necessary documentation.
- Support tax professionals with financial information needed for yearly tax provisions and tax filings.
Who You Are:
You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:
- CPA certification and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- Minimum of 10+ years of combined public and private accounting experience.
