Project Accounting Manager

RRM Design Group is an employee-owned company seeking a full-time Project Accounting Manager to join our team. Our growing firm is looking for an individual who is eager to be part of a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team that offers a great balance of professional fulfillment and fun.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the firm’s billing team and project managers to improve project accountability and profitability by designing, implementing, and managing project management processes, procedures, and reporting tools. Compile billing data and prepare invoices. Monitor compliance with project-related contractual and insurance requirements. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and billing staff to resolve billing issues.

YOUR ROLE LOOKS LIKE:

• Managing, developing, and monitoring of all billing and project accounting.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing and financial reporting.
• Developing and maintaining interactive project reporting on dashboards.
• Monitoring performance and coordinating with project managers and Principals to meet billing and financial performance goals.
• Conducting quality audits in billing to ensure best practices and timely account resolutions.
• Developing and maintaining project manager reports, coordinating with project managers and upper management.
• Ensuring accurate setup and maintenance of projects in accounting software, including budgeting and tracking
  

Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Minimum five (10) years of experience in related field
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills and ability to multi-task.

ABOVE & BEYOND

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or closely related field
• Systems knowledge of Deltek, Unanet, Sage, or similar software.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations.
• Experience with ERP Implementation
• Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or similar professional service industry experience.
