What We're Looking For

The Business Strategy & Automation Manager will be a key player in driving operational excellence and strategic growth at Just Right Reader. This role will focus on identifying, designing, and implementing automation solutions across various business functions, while also supporting broader business strategy initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business operations, project management, and automation technologies, with a proven ability to manage cross-functional projects and deliver impactful results.

 

What You'll Do at Just Right Reader

  1. Strategic Planning & Execution:
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and execute the company’s business strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and manage business operational frameworks, driving clarity and accountability across teams.
  • Lead key strategic initiatives, providing detailed analysis, recommendations, and execution plans.
  1. Automation & Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for automation across various business functions to improve efficiency and enhance scalability.
  • Design and implement automation solutions using appropriate tools and technologies, ensuring integration with existing systems.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize automated processes, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  1. Project Management:
  • Lead cross-functional projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, and resources, communicating progress and any changes to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
  1. Data Analysis & Reporting:
  • Analyze business performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior leadership, offering actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business strategies and automation initiatives.
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with various departments, including IT, Finance, Operations, and Sales, to ensure successful implementation of strategies and automation projects.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and consensus on key initiatives.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in business strategy, operations, or related roles, with at least 3 years focused on automation and process improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of business operations and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in automation tools and technologies.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools.
