Team & Role

The User Experience Platform organization includes teams working on the foundational technologies that underpin the Web, Mobile, and Conversational aspects of the ServiceNow platform, upon which all the other ServiceNow application products are built. Our Teams are using leading-edge technologies including AI and LLMs to create incredible new experiences while also maintaining and enhancing an unparalleled level of software products. What you get to do in this role:

  • Work side-by side with Engineering, Product, UX Design, and Quality Engineering teams on high-visibility, mission-critical, large and complex programs, and drive them from original concept through final implementation.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy to ensure teams, executing against delivery plans, release high-quality components and builders for our business applications, partners and customers.
  • Provide a proactive, strategic perspective on improvements to the business, SDLC, or internal tooling – including hands-on coaching of individual scrum teams.
  • Help manage risks and dependencies and escalate impediments to meet program objectives.
  • Provide transparent and forthright communications with all areas affected by your programs; simplify complex issues into a crisp, actionable status to a variety of audiences.
  • Actively share knowledge and expertise with others to ensure diversity and inclusion with the goal of elevating colleagues, teams, and community of practice.
  • Build solid, trusting relationships with executives, development teams, product management, stakeholders, cross-functional development groups, and peers.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • PMI-ACP, Agile, or scaled agile certifications (SAFe SPC or RTE) and experience leading and coaching teams and release trains in scaled agile principles and practices.
  • Track record of successfully coaching teams to establish/mature SDLC processes to improve delivery.
  • Experience utilizing ServiceNow products to keep projects organized, track metrics, and report on progress.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of project/program management experience in mid/large size companies, supporting software development teams who create products for businesses or consumers.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in working with software teams to develop B2B software products released to the market place.
  • BA/BS degree or higher in Business Management, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), Operations and Information Management (OIM), Software Engineering, or other equivalent combination of education and experience.
