You will act as a critical link between the strategic vision set by governance leadership and the day-to-day execution required to maintain a healthy data ecosystem. Your role is to manage and mentor a team that serves as the analytical engine for the governance program, using the enterprise data catalog as its central hub. You will be hands-on, guiding your team in analyzing metadata, measuring data quality, and building the reports that provide transparency into the health and value of our data assets.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data governance analysts, overseeing their daily tasks and professional development</li> <li>Oversee the day-to-day operational health of the enterprise data catalog (e.g., Collibra), ensuring metadata is being populated accurately and is useful for end-users</li> <li>Design and implement data quality monitoring processes; guide the team in analyzing data quality issues and tracking remediation efforts with data stewards</li> <li>Direct the development of dashboards and reports in tools like Tableau or Power BI to track key data governance metrics, such as data quality scores, catalog usage, and stewardship activity</li> <li>Partner with data stewards across the organization to facilitate the definition of business terms, certification of data assets, and documentation of data lineage within the catalog</li> <li>Act as a subject matter expert on the data catalog, training users and championing its adoption as the single source for data discovery</li> <li>Translate high-level data governance objectives into specific analytical projects
