POSITION SPECIFICS

The Department of Psychology at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a full-time Teaching Faculty position to start in January 2026. This position will be filled at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor

Responsibilities include teaching courses in developmental and cognitive psychology, in addition to core courses such as introductory psychology and research methods. This position will include resident and online instruction and normal university service. This is a full-time position with a teaching load of three courses per semester during the academic year. Onsite teaching is an essential function of this job.

A Master’s degree or higher in Psychology or related field is required by the appointment date. Previous teaching experience and a Ph.D. are preferred.  Rank is determined by education and qualifications.
