We are seeking a Principal Salesforce Technical Architect/Developer with deep expertise with Field Service customizations and automations to lead the design and implementation of transformative Salesforce Field Service solutions. In this role, you’ll partner with business leaders and technical teams to develop scalable architectures that drive efficiency, enhance user experience, and enable seamless integration across platforms. If you’re passionate about Salesforce architecture and have a track record of delivering high-impact Field Service solutions, we want you to join our innovative and collaborative team.A successful candidate will be a seasoned Architect with at least 7 years Salesforce solutioning and development experience to meet with Business Stakeholders and convert their requirements into fully formed and Developer ready User Stories. The candidate should utilize their knowledge of Salesforce objects, fields, configurations, and automations to identify potential solutions and work in conjunction with Solution Architects and Sr. Developers to design value added applications.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Architectural Design & Solutioning (80%)
- Participate in the design of Salesforce Field Service architectures, focusing on scalability, performance, and extending Salesforce’s OOB application.
- Develop and document detailed solutions for business requirements, including required customizations, objects/field identification, automations, and integration patterns.
- Evaluate configuration versus customization approaches and recommend optimal use of Salesforce objects, fields, and processes.
- Provide input to integrations with third-party systems and internal applications (Oracle EBS) to ensure seamless data exchange.
- Partner with stakeholders and product owners to define requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct impact analysis of proposed solutions on existing systems and workflows.
Collaboration & Development (15%)
- Guide development teams by conducting technical reviews and mentoring junior developers on Salesforce best practices.
- Code and/or configure Salesforce solutions of stories identified in Sprint Planning
- Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies, offering technical input during sprint planning and backlog grooming.
- Drive alignment between technical architecture and business strategy.
- Primary point of contact for all Final Mile issues identified during US ET hours
Deployment & Continuous Improvement (5%)
- Participate in the deployment of Salesforce Field Service solutions, in coordination with DevOps resources, ensuring successful implementation and adoption.
- Monitor and confirm post-deployment system performance and stability.
- Champion continuous improvement by staying ahead of Salesforce platform updates and emerging technologies.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of experience in Salesforce architecture, with a strong focus on Field Service solutions.
- Custom development experience utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), API consumption (via Mulesoft)
- Proven ability to design end-to-end Salesforce solutions, including system integrations and custom development.
- Expertise in Field Service concepts, including scheduling, optimization, and resource management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Field Service SME with a Salesforce Field Service Consultant Certification
