A Day in the Life
The Software Engineer will be responsible for the Definition and Implementation of Verification tests for embedded software application(s) in a regulated environment. This position works intensely with the Embedded Software Design engineers in a team environment to meet/exceed business and quality objectives.
- Work independently in the development of test requirements, test design, test implementations, verification, and associated qualification activities.
- Collaborate with the Design team in creating testable embedded software requirements definition
- Establish and maintain high quality (best-in-class) test procedures and methods to be used in present and future embedded software verification testing and development.
- Actively participate in reviews and provide constructive feedback to the work of teammates.
- Participate in the tasks involved in the formal verification of the embedded software for Neurostimulators.
- Ensure personal understanding of all quality policy/system items that are personally applicable.
- Follow all work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high quality work.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or related field with 0 years of experience
Nice to Haves
- 1+ years of software development and/or test development experience.
- 1+ years using C/C++/C#.
- Experience working in simulation environments.
- Experience in verification of medical devices
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.
