Your Responsibilities

 

As a Software Engineer for JD World Headquarters located in Moline, IL or Chicago, IL, you will be a hands-on developer on a highly collaborative and cross-functional Agile delivery team dedicated to design, development, and delivery of software solutions impacting Deere & Co's global engineering community. Our teams are innovating the way we engineer by leveraging major cloud platforms, SAP, and Windchill.   • Continually drive quality into delivered features
  • Assist with root cause analysis, debug, and fix complex application issues
  • Lead prevent recurrence initiatives.
  • Actively participate in team Agile ceremonies to establish strong software design.

What Skills You Need

 

  • 2 or more years of experience in the design, development, testing of highly complex cloud-native software solutions on Azure and/or AWS using Typescript and testing tools
  • 2 or more years of experience database development (relational and NoSQL)
  • 2 or more years of experience applying industry standard design patterns
  • 2 or more years of proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment
  • 2 or more years experience building RESTful API's 

 

What Makes You Stand Out

 

  • Experience working in the Product Lifecycle Management business function
  • Proven strong leadership skill and experience, influence effectively, ability to resolve impediments in a timely manner
  • Learning Agility / Innovative - desire and openness for continuous technical learning, including customization of SAP and Windchill platforms
  • Practical application of Artificial intelligence (AI)

 

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
