About the role

Primary Responsibilities & Essential Functions:

  • Lead the development and implementation of data analytics capabilities and systems as part of the Business Resilience & Crisis Management Office.
  • Partner with global and local functional leaders across the company to identify, collect and analyze relevant data from multiple sources to determine strategic insights for achieving business opportunities and avoiding business risks.
  • Lead resilience workshops and incident responses with stakeholders to document, manage and utilize relevant data.
  • Manage and mentor data personnel such as developers, analysts and system administrators.
  • Oversee systems and processes to leverage data related to business impact analyses, priority assessments, business functions, company locations, products, customers, suppliers, finances and incident management.
  • Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into custom configuration of solutions and configure database software to achieve improvements and updates.
  • Create user-friendly data visualizations, dashboards, tools and presentations.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision making by promoting the value of analytics and empowering teams through data.
  • Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure quality, transparency, security and consistency.
  • Generate and manage project plans for system improvements. Maintain detailed documentation of business processes developed.
  • Develop and implement training for current and proposed solutions.
  • Configure SAAS solution Fusion Risk Management™ (built on the Salesforce platform).

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering or related field.
  • Experience designing and implementing database software, visualizations and analysis tools.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into compelling, actionable insights that inform strategic and tactical decision making.
  • Experience with SQL, Python and/or R.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience leading, managing and mentoring personnel responsible for data and technical systems.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong time management with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic work environment.
  • Possess an attention to detail and a pursuit of excellence.
  • Proactive, intellectually curious, creative and self-motivated.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an understanding of the need for cross-functional partnership and collaboration.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce, Fusion Risk Management and/or other risk management software.
  • Experience with PowerBI, Tableau and/or other data visualization tools.
