Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Audit Integrity Data Reporting Clerk to join our team!

JOB SUMMARY:  

The Audit Integrity Data Reporting Clerk will be responsible for submitting records for external and internal audit requests. This includes collection and analyzing the records for completeness of documentation prior to submission to applicable parties. The Audit Integrity Clerk will ensure the office has then necessary items and supplies to perform department functions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Abstracts moderate to highly complex data and records by strictly adhering to established definitions and guidelines and maintains an abstracting volume to meet internal and external reporting deadlines.
  2. Determines the validity of the abstracted data and questions controversial information prior to data entry or submission.
  3. Tracks and validates data accuracy and timeliness in accordance with established guidelines.
  4. Actively participates in problem identification and resolution
  5. Accurately interprets and follows frequently changing data definitions and guidelines.
  6. Takes ownership of projects, researches data and follows through with detailed action plans.
  7. Maintains a good working relationship within the department and with other departments.
  8. Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.
  9. Provides accurate and timely written and verbal communication of information in a manner that is understood by all.
  10. Able to listen, understand, problem-solve, and carry-out duties to ensure the optimal outcome.
  11. Adheres to dress code; appearance is neat and clean.
  12. Completes annual education requirements.
  13. Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
  14. Reports to work, meetings and professional obligations on time.
  15. Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner.
  16. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
