The Global Quality and Regulatory Leadership Development program will consist of a robust induction plan followed by four 6 - month rotations across various facets of our Quality and Regulatory organization including Global Quality Systems (General), Quality Operations (site), Regulatory Operations and choice of: Global QMS Post Market Surveillance or Global Supplier Quality.
The QRA LDP (P1) position will rotate across Global QRA and adjacent teams to develop competencies in key focus areas. Specific responsibilities will vary depending on current rotation but will include subsets of Quality System as applied globally and at a manufacturing location, as well as regulatory application within a given S+N franchise. Participants in this program will have a mentor focused on their technical skills, professional development, and career growth.
This position supports the maintenance and improvement of Smith+Nephew’s Global Quality and Regulatory framework.
Upon the successful completion of the LDP, the participant will be required to report out their program completion objectives to the Global QRA Leadership team. The deliverables of this presentation will be completed with oversight from the program managers/mentors.
What will you be doing?
Support the maintenance and improvement of the global Smith and Nephew Global QMS.
Support the document management & control of shared documents across all rotations.
Support the training management process across all rotations.
Sharing industry benchmarks and best practices throughout the organization.
Support and participate in communities of practice (CoP) that focus on the specific needs of the business and quality organization to ensure continuous improvement of our systems and processes.
Become a trusted internal business partner by managing requested projects.
Develop strong relationships within Smith and Nephew organizations both inside QRA and outside.
Other Tasks/Actions/projects as assigned.
What will you need to be successful?
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, or related fields strongly preferred, but not required.
Experience:
0 - 1 years including internship/Co-op related experience preferred.
Must have effective written/oral, interpersonal, organizational skills
Proven track record of delivering projects per schedule.
The ability to understand the impact of external regulations and standards on life science products.
Knowledge of global business and international customs and practices.
Knowledge and the ability to understand the impact of cGMPs, ISO standards, US and International regulatory requirements.
