Summary
Regis College is actively seeking a Clinical Placement Coordinator for Graduate Counseling Programs. The Master of Arts in Counseling is a strong and growing program offered in the School of Health Sciences on the Weston, MA campus.
This is an adjunct lecturer position and qualified applicants will have earned a Master's in Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or Counselor Education from a regionally-accredited program. A qualified applicant is a practitioner with three years of full-time or equivalent part-time post-licensure clinical mental health counseling experience and a Massachusetts-licensed mental health counselor.
Successful candidates will share a commitment and passion for working with diverse and marginalized populations. As a generalist program, areas of specialty remain open, but candidates with experience in antiracism, intersectional feminism, assessment, and therapeutic considerations, as well as community mental health care are encouraged to apply.

Essential Functions:
- Teach clinical seminar course for students serving in clinical placements.
- Provide oversight and leadership of the clinical placement component of the Graduate Counseling Programs for students at every phase of clinical placement.
- Collaborate with Graduate Counseling Programs Director.
- Oversee the implementation of a student assessment plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Serve as clinical placement liaison and mentor to students.
- Ensure sufficient number of placement sites and develop clinical placement site partnerships.
- Represent program in partnership meetings with referring institutions and agency sites.
- All roles and responsibilities associated adjunct faculty appointment, including teaching, grading, and course development.
- Hold training sessions for students scheduled to be in clinical placements for Summer 24.
- Demonstrated evidence of the use of instructional technology.
Other Responsibilities:
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- Student advising as assigned.
Qualifications
Requirements:

- MA in Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or Counselor Education.
- Current professional license to independently practice in the State of Massachusetts as a licensed mental health counselor.
- Minimum three years of full-time or the equivalent part-time post-licensure clinical mental health experience as a licensed mental health counselor.
- Experience teaching at the graduate level.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Normal office environment, not subject to extremes in noise, odors, etc.
- May spend extended periods at terminal, on telephone, or operating other office machines requiring eye-hand coord
