About the role

Responsibilities

Deliver technical training to customers and partners world-wide (mostly US) in class and online
Design and build networking courses of significant complexity
Design and write well-tested labs
Work closely with subject matter experts
Conduct Train-the-Trainer & Knowledge Transfer sessions
Deliver PowerPoint slides, HTML, Word and PDF-formatted lab books and illustrations
Own projects from start to finish

Experience

Three years of working experience as a technical trainer & course deloper in the networking industry
Superlative communication skills – must present complex topics clearly and succinctly
Experience delivering technical presentations online to highly technical audiences
Enjoys troubleshooting and solving challenging technical problems confidently in front of an audience
Comfortable with virtualization technologies, Linux, and Windows servers and VMs
High level of expertise in networking technologies and protocols, with particular emphasis on L 4-7
Experience with Application Delivery Control desirable
Some scripting skills (Python, shell) helpful
Enjoys owning projects and working with minimal to no supervision
Skilled with managing deadlines
Excellent organization skills
Logical mind and positive attitude

Targeted compensation guideline: $110,000 - $140,000. Compensation will vary based on number of factors, including market demand for specific skills, role type, job level, and individual qualifications. Final salary offers are determined by considerations including, but not limited to, subject matter expertise, demonstrated skill level, relevant experience, geographic location, education, certifications, and training.
