About the job:
This role is responsible for leading the company's technology strategy and execution, ensuring that the technological infrastructure robustly and securely supports business operations and is aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
Accountabilities & Areas of Responsibility:
- Support shaping of the technology roadmap critical to the business and that provide the value propositions to customers.
- Lead the technical direction and develop tech strategy in collaboration with the business.
- Drive the core technology agenda.
- Accountable for the implementation and run of the systems, hardware and software that supports the business and operations, with a focus on security, resilience, compliance, reusability, and scalability.
- Ensure alignment of technological capabilities with business strategy.
- Customer service levels and the correct assurance of the company's production and logical security.
- Management of the intracompany arrangements for the technology function including the IT support of all employees.
- Network management and maintenance.
- Cybersecurity of the technology infrastructure.
- Business Continuity.
- Compliance with all regulatory rules and regulations applicable to the technology function and internal policies and procedures.
- Control and optimization of technology costs escalation and resolution of technology component issues.
- Assess and implement changes to adapt the technological infrastructure to new requirements.
- Engage with global stakeholders to ensure alignment with the Group’s Technology developments, methodologies and priorities.
Capabilities, Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, System Engineer, or other related area or equivalent experience
- Experience: 5+ years of engineering experience in a financial institution (Private Banking)
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of relevant Cyber/Tech rules and regulations and best business practices applicable to a Registered Investment Advisors and US Broker Dealers
- Platforms and Software:
- Advanced experience with portfolio management platforms such as Black Diamond, Complif, Hadrius, MCO, Smarsh and Addepar, is a MUST
- Previous experience with Salesforce and NetX360 (Pershing) is a plus
- Knowledge of Compliance platforms, such as regulatory monitoring and reporting systems
- Technical Skills:
- Technical certifications and experience in security a plus
- Ability to technically understand the end to end systems including customer facing interfaces and backend.
- Proven understanding of the end-to-end implementation of software products.
- Knowledge of database management, APIs, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- MDM Ivanti and INTUNE Platform
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Superior organizational skills and ability to prioritize while multitasking
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage technical teams and collaborate with non-technical areas
Languages: Bilingual English-Spanish
