Internship - Finance, Diamond & Jewelry Supply

The Finance Intern provides finance support for Jewelry Supply and Diamond Division operations primarily involving the diamond and jewelry production facilities domestically and internationally. The role will focus on assisting with analytics to support effective operational decision-making, including the budgeting and forecast process, monthly reporting and analysis, and ad hoc support for management.

This position is a hybrid role that is based out of our New York City office. The rate for this position is $25 per hour.

Key Accountabilities

Forecasting, Budgeting, and Reporting

• Support monthly reporting and annual re-forecast and budgeting processes for Jewelry Supply and Diamond Division by preparing various models and analyses to be used in decision making
• Work closely with on-site business partners to understand the needs and operations of each location

Strategic Financial Projects

• Support approval process of capital investment requests from facilities
• Ad hoc work related to management requests and points of strategic interest

Process Improvement Initiatives

• Assist with refining analytical tools and methodologies for increased automation and efficiency

Safety

• Demonstrate safety leadership by adherence to workplace safety policies and procedures. Recognize and positively reinforce good safety behaviors while delivering immediate, specific and constructive feedback to employees who demonstrate unsafe work behavior.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate education

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate Finance or Accounting Program
