Position Summary:

The Loans Sr. Specialist is responsible for processing of all loans maturity and daily events (Pre-pagos, loan increases, decreases, interest payment, rate changes and any amendment to existing loans) ensuring that the banks policies and procedures are properly followed.

The Loans Sr. Specialist reports to the Loans Manager.

Position Duties / Responsibilities

• Control of the daily maturity of loans and events such as interest or principal payment, rate changes and any amendment to existing loans.

• Booking of new & renewal loans/lines on Globus, generating accounting entries.

• Cancellation of loans/lines on Globus, generating accounting entries.

• Ensure the accurate and efficient handling of all loans/lines (new and renewals) asserting that approved and signed conditions and terms are accurately booked.

• Control and maintenance of collaterals in the Globus system.

• Calculate and prepare all necessary forms for pre-payment fees.

• Record and book increases, decreases, interest payment, rate changes, and any amendment to existing loan or line.

• Send PD advises to CRM’s when requested

• Respond to Front office request regarding any credit operational issues.

• Ensure that customer’s digital loans/lines files are maintained up to date.

• Perform any other assigned task, duties or special projects deemed necessary by the supervisor.

Specialized Knowledge 

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Strong organizational skill with the ability to multi-task

Education: Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience 

Business Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience or demonstrated required level of proficiency  

Technical Knowledge:

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Strong organization skills as well as technical skills. Well-developed interpersonal skills with ability to work under stress. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Languages: Spanish, English  

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

Base Pay Range

Minimum:

$42,000.00 USD

Maximum:

$66,000.00 USD
