What you’ll do
The Lead, Asset and Protection will conduct our corporate physical security program and steer the know-how and intellectual property (IP) protection and prototype program for the company through dynamic experience. Reporting to the Director, Security and Fire Protection, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive company strategies with cross-functional stakeholders for physical security standards, IP protections, prototype protocols, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

- Develop and implement comprehensive company strategies with cross-functional stakeholders for physical security standards, IP protections, prototype protocols, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
- Establish and maintain physical security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard company assets, including personnel, facilities, and intellectual property
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate security measures and/or mitigation strategies for potential risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and manage physical security systems, such as access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and alarm systems. Join internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and industry best practices
- Monitor and analyze security incidents and provide timely response and resolution, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Stay updated on emerging security technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance the company's physical security prototype protection posture
- Conduct regular training and awareness programs for employees to promote a security-conscious culture and ensure adherence to security policies and educate employees on potential threats and best practices for prevention
- Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and law enforcement agencies to ensure effective security partnerships and support during incidents or investigations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, such as design, commercial, legal and IT departments, to ensure alignment and collaboration on intellectual property protection strategies
- Conduct investigations into security breaches, thefts, or unauthorized access incidents, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvement and implement corrective actions to prevent future security breaches
- Stay abreast of intellectual property laws, regulations, and industry standards, and provide guidance and support to relevant teams to ensure compliance

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Security Management, Criminal Justice, or Business Administration. Relevant certifications or equivalent work experience will also be considered
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in corporate security, physical
