Job Description Summary

This role has responsibility for leading teams to successfully fulfill all commitments and deliverables for assigned programs, including ensuring programs are completed on-time and within budget. This role owns stand-alone programs with commitments, deliverables, cost, schedule, budget, and manages day-to-day interactions with the customer, and requires periodic program reviews and resolution of program related issues. Support the identification and development of product offerings for the business. Enable the team to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. This person is subject to Commercial policy objectives but has independence in achieving commercial objectives within operating budgets and operating guidelines. There is moderate autonomy within the role to enter into and execute Commercial arrangements. This role requires high levels of Commercial judgment to achieve target outcomes.

Role Overview:

As the Combat and Trainer Engines Senior Program Manager, you will lead teams to successfully fulfill all commitments and deliverables for assigned programs. This role is on-site and involves managing program milestones, budgets, and customer interactions. Your work will directly contribute to GE Aerospace’s mission of delivering world-class solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the USAF customer to support the Continuous Improvement Program (CIP), including achieving contract milestones, identifying projects, submitting proposals, and negotiating deliverables.
  • Monitor and drive key performance indicators such as cost, schedule, and management of change.
  • Shepherd business opportunities through the 650.10 deal review process.
  • Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, and airframers to address program-related issues.
  • Provide support for essential business processes, including PCB, SPMT, cost management, and government property compliance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to address program deliverables, including field quality or safety issues, NPI programs, and engine or part tollgate reviews.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and recommend best practices to improve products, processes, or services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role with a 4-year degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 8 years of experience in a related role).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs/projects and resolve problems.
  • Established project management skills with the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve obstacles while recognizing and rewarding team success.

The base pay range for this position is S145,500.00 - 193,900.00 - 242,400.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on August 1st, 2025.
