The Role at a Glance

 

As an Sr. DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a team that develops, implements and manages continuous integration and deployment solutions for applications, infrastructure and various technical platforms. You will work collaboratively with delivery teams and software engineers to implement and maintain enterprise DevOps solutions on-prem and in the cloud, enable best practices to help them automate and streamline operations and processes, and troubleshoot issues within various environments.

 

What you'll be doing

 

  • Design and develop AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK.
  • Build, manage, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and integrated tools. 
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to build infrastructure deployment pipelines using AWS CDK.
  • Provide technical enablement, guidance, and mentorship of IT teams/developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline related issues in a timely manner.
  • Document designs, configurations and operational procedures. 
  • Stay updated with the latest AWS and DevOps features and services, integrate them into existing solutions as appropriate.

 

What we’re looking for

 

  • Bachelor’s  degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and/or 5+ years' application development or software delivery experience.
  • Experience with implementing, managing, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines and tools like, GitLab, Glue and Liquibase.
  • Experience in building and managing IaC pipelines via AWS CDK.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services and architecture, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPS, IAM, etc.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Yaml, Python or Java
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, algorithmic thinking and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Pay Range: $90,300 - $164,700 

 

Actual base pay could vary based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees.  In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual.  Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
