Your Job

DEPCOM Power is seeking a Field Service Superintendent to lead and manage electrical crews on utility-scale solar and BESS repower, restoration, and augmentation projects. In this hands-on role, you will ensure all work meets NEC code, safety standards, and project requirements while troubleshooting challenges and maintaining efficient workflow across fast-paced, short-duration sites nationwide.

Travel: This role is field-based with travel across project sites nationwide. Assignments typically last 4–8 weeks, with company-supported trips home between rotations. You will work out of a home base between assignments while supporting sites requiring rapid restoration, repower, or augmentation.

Our Team

Our Field Services team is built for challenges that standard operations and maintenance can’t address—from site damage and aging asset underperformance to evolving energy demands. We deliver rapid mobilization and targeted technical expertise through tailored solutions designed to protect customer investments and extend system value.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage a self-perform team to repair and restore utility-scale solar and BESS project sites while applying Principle Based Management (PBM)
  • Develop and improve processes that drive consistent behaviors, increase productivity, and maximize profitability across projects
  • Ensure all work is executed safely, on schedule, and in alignment with DEPCOM’s quality standards and construction requirements
  • Improve decision-making through knowledge sharing, the challenge process, and clear ownership of decision rights
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and risks while maintaining transparent communication with customers and stakeholders
  • Maintain a forward-looking plan by ensuring the team is aligned on a three-week lookahead
  • Provide accurate daily reporting and interact with customers as needed to support project success

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Valid Electrical Journeyman license with strong working knowledge of NEC code and field application
  • Experience leading self-perform crews or subcontractors in construction or field service environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools to support reporting, communication, and planning
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively to project sites
