Team Member (Charley's Cheesesteak)

Charleys Cheesesteaks is looking for friendly, energetic, and dependable Team Members to join our fast-paced restaurant team! As a Team Member, you will help create an outstanding guest experience by delivering excellent customer service, preparing quality food, and supporting smooth daily restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
• Take customer orders accurately using the POS system
• Provide excellent customer service and assist guests with menu questions and recommendations
• Prepare food items according to Charleys standards for quality, freshness, and presentation
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers, and ovens
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards at all times
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen, dining area, and workstations
• Assist with stocking supplies, ingredient prep, and restaurant upkeep
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Promote menu items, combo upgrades, and special offers to guests
• Work closely with team members to maintain fast and efficient service during busy periods
• Support opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties as assigned

Requirements

• No experience required — training provided
• Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is a plus
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and reliability
• Basic math and cash handling skills preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays preferred
