TRUMPF is seeking candidates for an internship in the Customer Services Department at our Hoffman Estates, IL location. This internship will provide a college-level student with practical and professional experience that will enhance and compliment their classroom learning. This internship will be May 2024 to December 2024 for at least 32 hours a week during summer and 20 hours during semester.

Principle Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support streamlining the overall Smart Factory Fulfillment processes

  • Review processes for current state, improvement suggestions for future state and create related SOPs for existing and new processes

  • Work closely with project teams, organize coordination meetings with stakeholders to provide regular updates

  • Help identifying areas for improvement and provide creative scalable solution options for the current processes in Smartsheet and other digital tools such as SharePoint

  • Support creating TUSC process standards, guidelines, work instructions, training packages, templates

  • Support operational excellence activities, workshops for continuous improvements of daily tasks

  • Demonstrate written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with people in a multidisciplinary environment

Qualifications

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is required. Strong inter-personal communication skills and ability to work as a team player.

Education

Must be a student enrolled in an accredited university or institution pursuing an undergraduate’s degree in a related field.
