Reporting to the Manager, Post Production the Post Production Specialist covers a wide range of post-production, editorial, delivery and archiving needs.
Job Description
INGEST
Transcode source footage into edit-compatible file formats using Colorfront Transkoder and other devices
Provide technical and editorial assistance to film and video editors
Record live programs using Cinedeck ZX85 digital disk recorders
Ingest media into our Elements Media Library asset management system
Transfer completed programs into the Red Bull Content Hub
PLAYOUT
Conform picture-locked edit sequences to original camera sources in preparation for color grading
Lay back final color-graded programs with final audio tracks
Play out completed programs for internal and external distribution
Perform standards conversions using SAM Alchemist XF, among other devices
QUALITY ASSURANCE & QUALITY CONTROL
Perform in-depth quality control on several digital video and audio assets
You will Assist the Sr. Manager, Post Production and Post Production Managers with internal and production partner support
EDITORIAL
Media manage footage for editors
Organize edit projects
Create selects reels for producers and editors
Load music and graphics
Edit content
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in film and/or television, media technology, media engineering, or related fields
Experience with digital film and video technology and post-production workflows
Passion for film and television technology and technical operations
Experience with non-linear editing and color grading applications Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve
1-year experience in a film or television production company, broadcast facility, broadcast services facility, or other media venue
Additional Information
The base salary range for this position is $76,000 to $84,000 + cash incentives Actual salary offer may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
