Job Description

What you'll do:
- Copywrite and schedule Facebook posts and tweets for CNBC Select and NBC Select.
- Report on social media engagement, reach and traffic analytics as well as competitive analytics to help make informed content decisions.
- Identify content that can be translated to Instagram and Tiktok via graphic treatment, stories, or video.
- Keep up with the evolving social media landscape, new features and best practices on each platform.
- Pitch new social media ideas based on editorial content or pitches.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project-based position with an estimated duration of 4 to 6 Months, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables are completed. Salary range: $23.00-$29.00/hour
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience in social media for a news, media or publishing brand
- Experience with social media and traffic analytics platforms
- Sound editorial and journalistic judgement and accuracy
- Knowledge of AP Style
Experience at a major news brand preferred - Commerce editorial experience a plus
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills under deadline pressure
Skills:
- Knowledge of social media best practices, capabilities and trends
- Experience with social media scheduling and analytics platforms
- Attention to detail and ability to make quick decisions
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, energetic environment and be a team player
- Ability to approach roadblocks analytically and thoughtfully
