Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

<h3>Business Intelligence Data Analyst</h3> <p>Collibra’s Engineering Operations team leads program and release management and supports all operational functions in support of our Product &amp; Engineering organizations. We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to analyze our operations and processes and work with stakeholders to recommend improvements to drive efficiency, quality and scale.</p> <p>You will be reporting to the VP of Engineering Operations and working primarily with stakeholders across all functions in Product &amp; Engineering. You will also be collaborating closely with other Business and Data Intelligence Analysts across Collibra to develop a culture of data-driven decision making.</p> <h3>Business Intelligence Analysts at Collibra are responsible for</h3> <ul> <li>Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to define key performance indicators and data gathering methodology for a number of important initiatives including but not limited to efficiency, SDLC process effectiveness and productivity</li> <li>Develop and oversee data processing pipelines, build automated processes for Extracting, Transforming and Loading (ETL) data between different formats and systems to support data analysis</li> <li>Design, develop and continuously improve reporting and analytics solutions that are scalable</li> <li>Create a set of curated production data sets for use in Product &amp; Engineering dashboards and analysis</li> <li>Synthesize complex data findings into actionable and clear recommendations to internal stakeholders and leaders</li> </ul> <h3>You have</h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in reporting and analytics, preferably related to technology operations</li> <li>Experience with SQL, data warehouse tools like Redshift, Astronomer, DBT, Airflow, relational databases and writing queries and/or data wrangling software </li> <li>Some programming experience with object oriented languages like Python and/or Java</li> <li>Experience with business/technology software like Jira, Zendesk, Salesforce, ServiceNow and Collibra</li> <li>A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required</li> <li>You must have work authorization to work in Prague, CZ</li> </ul> <h3>You are</h3> <ul> <li>Fluent in telling meaningful stories through the use of data</li> <li>Passionate about building a data-driven culture</li> <li>A relationship builder across the organization, ensuring that the right processes, metrics and insights are in place to help us scale</li> <li>Strong business acumen, statistical analysis, written and verbal communication skills</li> </ul> <h3>Measures of success</h3> <ul> <li>Within your first month, you will have built relationships with the Engineering Operations team, gained an understanding of our SDLC and start supporting existing reporting initiatives </li> <li>Within your third month, you will have built relationships with key SMEs, continuously improve existing reporting initiatives and start to build your own</li> <li>Within your sixth month, you will have successfully rolled out your first project for Product &amp; Engineering</li> </ul> <h3>Benefits at Collibra</h3> <p>Collibra recognizes and values that everyone has different needs, interests, and life goals.
