As a part of the world class Customer Service Department, the Trade Account Analyst is responsible for cultivating and maintaining favorable contacts with assigned customer accounts at all levels of the customer’s organization. Trade Account Analyst may be partnered with an outside sales representative to build relationships at multiple levels within the accounts to maximize the efficiency of processes. The Trade Account Analyst works under minimal supervision, in accordance with established procedures and reports directly to the Customer Operations Director.
How you’ll spend your day
- Take ownership of all customer service account duties
- Provide regular and ad hoc reports as needed
- Enter orders manually when electronic order services cannot process them due to complex discounts, special purchases, or regulations; attach fax images to orders in the system (e.g., SAP)
- Provide recommendations for effective service
- Collaborate with the outside sales team as necessary to ensure customer service success
- Act as a liaison between sales, distribution, quality, marketing, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, legal, contracting, finance, and customers to facilitate effective cross-functional communication
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation
- Process claims
- Assist in training new employees and facilitate training for other departments or units as required
- Participate in special projects, supporting the team through research, tracking, schedule coordination, internal reports, system testing, and other assigned activities
- Ensure lot level or supply allocation is managed for internal teams or customer requirements
- Participate in product launches
- Perform other duties as assigned by management or as required by business needs
- Adhere to Teva's Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures
Your experience and qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least one year of order management/customer service experience
Preferred:
- Pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry experience
- Experience with SAP, Oracle and/or other ERP systems
- Specialized or technical knowledge: licenses, REMS certifications
- Proficient in MS Office programs (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Functional Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to establish rapport with others and accomplish team tasks
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization
- Ability and willingness to support business initiatives requiring after-hours work, weekends, and company holidays, as needed
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple assignments
- Ability to perform general administrative office duties (e.g., filing, faxing, sending packages via 3rd party)
