Description
Summary:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of daily office and clinical functions. Efficiently and accurately performs all front office duties. Provides quality healthcare in the community, in keeping with community values as outlined in the MDIHO Mission Statement. Provides direct and indirect assistance to providers to care for patients.

Requirements
Education, Training or Certifications Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Required:
- Medical office experience preferred.
- Experience in Customer Service with face-to-face contact.
Special Requirements:
- Emotional maturity and good people skills required.
- Ability to work with distressed or anxious patients or family members required.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
Cognitive Requirements:
- Emotional maturity and good people skills required.
- Ability to work with distressed or anxious patients or family members required.

Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for up to eight hours per day.
- Able to perform under stress.
- May involve extended sitting.
- Use of computer, hand/eye coordination (typing).
