Job Description

The Facilities Client Services Leader will be responsible for facilities related projects, construction, space planning issues, architectural design, and communication to NBCU divisions. Additionally the role will be responsible for special projects as assigned.

  • Serve as the primary Facilities contact for NBCU business units based at 30 Rockefeller Plaza and other NYC/NJ sites.
  • Lead functional Facilities teams to provide the highest level of service to the NBCU Corporate Divisions.
  • Work closely with Facilities Space Planning to maximize real estate asset utilization by coordinating the sharing of space among the different business units.
  • Opex and Capex responsibilities on project by project basis.
  • Proactively identify and implement efficient space utilization.
  • Work as the liaison between facilities project leadership and the business units on all construction projects.
  • Work closely with NBCU Help Desk and Facilities trades to complete daily tasks.
  • Partner closely with clients to accommodate move requests, coordinating these activities with the appropriate management and staff functions at our various locations.
  • Ensure upkeep of accurate floor plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the company.
  • Proactively engage in space planning activities and identify strategic opportunities for internal clients.

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration and Facilities Management.
  • 3+ years facility management experience.
  • 3+ years project management experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical background.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and present ideas to clients.
  • Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and problem solve.
  • Strong ability to abstract and interpret lease language.
  • Construction project management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization and management and ability to build external networks.
  • Self-starter; demonstrates initiative.
  • Ability to analyze and present results in Excel and/or PowerPoint as needed.
