Executive Sales Director

Description

The Executive Sales Director is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our sales organization.  Setting overall targets, align the right staffing initiatives, and identifying areas of concern and opportunity to ensure overall organizational revenue goals are achieved.  Having extensive knowledge of the industries and financial acumen is critical. 

Requirements

• Develop and execute an achievable, yet profitable, sales budget including individual metrics, industry specific goals, and aligning staff accordingly 
• Ensuring all sales process and procedures allow for efficiency use of resources
• Setting sales goals and quotas
• Producing sales forecasts and reports
• Researching the market and competitors
• Training, mentoring and motivating the sales team
• Collaborating with the marketing department to develop effective promotional materials
• Building relationships with customers

Knowledge / Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent 
• Minimum 5 years of applicable experience in organizational leadership
• Proven track record developing, evaluating, and measuring sales metrics
• Ability to align teams, utilize resources, and deliver on results
