Position Duties:
- Electronic Design from concept to implementation and hand-over to manufacturing at scale.
- Compiling and documenting product requirements, Schematic Capture, Component Selection,
- Board Placement & Layout, EVT, DVT, PVT Testing and BoM Creation
- Testing of prototypes, assisting in troubleshooting Hardware/ Firmware, Solve design and
- manufacturing issues.
- Powering Up and validating prototypes, Bring-up of circuits, Stressing sub-modules and doing
- failure analysis.
- Collaboration with Firmware, Software, Testing, and Manufacturing teams to deliver compatible,
- reliable products.
- Working with FW team to make sure functional acceptance. Defining test protocols that can be
- implemented by SW teams. Communicating with manufacturing suppliers to guarantee
- manufacturability, testability.
- Overseeing the manufacturing process of electrical components/ assemblies to ensure they meet
- the design specifications. Working with contract manufacturers, component suppliers and other
- vendors to create proper assembly and testing processes. Making sure the yield targets are met at
- each step. Making sure the products meet compliance and regulatory requirements. Addressing
- Obsolescence Issues. BoM Creation, reviewing, and Picking Alternate Sources/Suppliers.
- Creating ECOs and proper documentation, making proper releases internally using tools.
- Reviewing ECOs/DCOs, providing feedback/ approvals and FMEA Creation.
Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in Electronical Engineer, Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent engineering degree
Experience Requirement:
- 60 months of experience in Electronical Engineer position
Special Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in:
- Designing embedded hardware systems, using EDA/PCB design software (Altium or
- Allegro/Cadence) Schematic Capture, Layout/ Routing and DFM/DFA
- Bus communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCle, RS232/RS485, PCle, 10/100/1000
- Ethernet)
- Microcontrollers, preferably STM, TI, Freescale, NXP, and relevant software stacks
- Use of relevant tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers
