Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provide support to the Advancement Services staff.
- The Office of Advancement Services maintains an accurate database of alumni, friends and other stakeholders of Belmont University.
- The office is responsible for prospect research and the recording and receipting of gifts.
- This is a day-time position with flexible hours between 8:00 am-4:30 pm, Monday-Friday.
- This position allows students an opportunity to develop “resume-building” data management skills.
- Sedentary work. Constantly requires sitting, repetitious finger and wrist movement, speaking clearly.
- Data entry input to update constituent records
- Index documents to cloud based storage
- Other duties as assigned
- Student must be detail oriented and self-directed, have ability to learn administrative software program (Banner) and maintain confidentiality of Belmont records.
- Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.
- Also looking for students who are available to work over the summer.
- Applicants with FWS Award preferred.
