We’re looking for a Material/Process Inspector II or III to join our Fort Stockton Office—a role that puts you right at the center of building and maintaining the transportation network that keeps Texas moving.

As a Material/Process Inspector with the Texas Department of Transportation, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the quality, safety, and durability of the roads, bridges, and infrastructure millions of Texans rely on every day. This isn’t just about checking boxes—you’ll be upholding the standards that keep our state safe and our communities connected.

In this position, you’ll work hands-on with materials and processes, ensuring everything used in our construction projects meets TxDOT’s strict quality requirements. You’ll be especially key in the testing and inspection of asphalt mixtures, helping guarantee the long-lasting pavement Texas is known for.
