Job Description
Danfoss in Loves Park, IL is searching for a Software Engineering Intern for Summer 2024. In this position, the intern will develop software to support the Loves Park facility's variable frequency drive products.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Contribute to new product development as part of a Scrum team.
- Know and follow software engineering best practices.
- Design, develop, debug, test, maintain, and deliver software features.
- Work with: C++, Python, Simulink, Azure DevOps, Git, and PLC application development.

- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering. Juniors and seniors preferred.
- Experience with C++ or Python.
- Knowledge of software design and development.
- Knowledge of embedded software development.
- Strong communication skills.
- Interested in a career in embedded software development for industrial products.
