About This Opportunity 

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate or secondary school mathematics teacher to refresh their mathematical skills and re-engage with the discipline at the tertiary level. Key responsibilities will include: 

Teaching

  • Teach, facilitate, and examine undergraduate, honours, and/or postgraduate coursework students in Mathematics.

  • Contribute to the curriculum through preparation of teaching materials and assessment.

  • Provide high-quality service to students, including academic consultation and advice.

  • Gather evidence of teaching effectiveness to improve the quality of courses and teaching and engage in professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness.

  • Understand and apply University rules relevant to teaching and learning practice.

In addition to the above, at Level B will:

  • Engage in educational collaborations to document and disseminate good teaching practices in the School.

About You 

Academic Level A

Applicants should have completed a degree in Mathematics/Statistics or Education (majoring in Mathematics/Statistics).

  • Evidence of high-quality Mathematics and/or Statistics teaching at a senior secondary level.

  • An emerging teaching profile in Mathematics/Statistics with eviden
