Project Assistant

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Organize and monitor parts inventory to ensure proper count and location. 
• Pull and package up parts for shipment. 
• Coordinate and manage daily cycle counts. 
• Ensure compliance with established internal control procedures. 
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. 
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. 
• Work 95% of the time outside in the warehouse.  

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 

• ​​Generate and edit Transfer Orders electronically. 
• ​Direct commit Transfer Orders electronically. 
• Ship and Receive Transfer Orders electronically. 
• ​Coordinate with the Buyer/planner team when parts are needed. 
• Coordinate with the Procurement team when parts are needed. 
• ​Electronically transfer materials from Bin locations to Work Orders. 
• ​Cycle count generation. 
• ​Manage variance reports and perpetual updates. 
• ​Pick up parts from various NOV or vendor locations locally. 
• ​Provide and coordinate logistics for parts to picked up. 
• ​Utilize Cognos for various reports including Pivot Tables, Work Orders, In transit, Committed Not Shipped and Inventory Days in Bin. 
• ​Forklift Certified (operate as needed)​ 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 

• ​​​High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 
• ​Completion of technical training school or an equivalent background in a similar environment​​ 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• ​​​2-5 years’ experience, or equivalent knowledge​​
