Position Specific Description
NextEra Energy’s Power Generation Division (PGD) is seeking a Project Manager to lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the performance of our wind energy portfolio within the Renewable Center of Work Excellence (CWE). In this role, you will work closely with renewable sites to increase performance by identifying and addressing knowledge and resource gaps. The Project Manager will be responsible for analyzing operational data, developing improvement strategies, and implementing solutions to optimize wind energy production.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborates closely with site and regional leadership to plan, coordinate, and complete large-scale or several medium or small, complex or long-term project(s) within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports in partnership with site and regional leaders.
- Works hand in hand with site personnel to identify operational performance gaps and develop improvement strategies.
- Conducts regular project meetings with site and regional teams, ensuring effective tracking and analysis of project progress.
- Identifies issues and challenges in site operations, measures and validates results, and implements solutions to enhance performance.
- Provides actionable information and insights to internal and external clients on moderate to complex issues affecting site performance.
- Creates and communicates presentation materials for updates and reports to various levels of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements to continually improve site operations and performance.
- Provides coaching, leadership, and direction to project teams, enabling increased team engagement and the execution of best practices.
- Recommends and implements strategies to enhance team engagement and improve overall site performance.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of renewable site operations.

Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 2+ years
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
