Production Supervisor I

What This Role Does:

• Position is a HANDS ON Supervisory role overseeing approximately 20 workers engaged in operating a variety of machines to manufacture molded fiber packaging trays for our community and the nation.
• Creates schedules and ensures worker hours are accurate in timeclock system.
• Assist in some mechanical work, TROUBLESHOOT and resolve work problems and carry out other supervisory responsibilities to keep business moving.
• Interfaces with other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met, quality inspections are done, and make suggestions for improvement, to ensure our customers receive top-notch product! We take great pride in what we do!

Do you have:

• Two to four years of Industrial Supervisory experience?
• The ability to work Rotating 12-hour shifts (switching days/nights every 4 weeks)
• A stable work history, strong work ethic & desire to learn/grow?
• A “Can Do” attitude with a proven track record of reliability?
• The ability to work on your feet and think fast in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

• We produce molded fiber trays for packaging and shipping apples, avocados, eggs and wine bottles.

Work Schedule:

• Rotating 12-hour shifts: 4 weeks on Days (7am-7pm) and 4 weeks on Nights (7pm-7am):
• Wk1: Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat. Wk2: Sun, Wed, Thur (and repeat)
• This is a salaried position which sometimes requires attendance in meetings and catch-up work outside of normal scheduled hours.

Required:

• 2-4 years of Industrial Supervisory experience.
• Ability to work the rotating schedule.
• Pass pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Experience with supervising Union workers is a plus!
