Shift Lead

Shift Lead at Nothing Bundt Cakes acts as a key supervisor responsible for delivering superior guest service, managing daily bakery operations, and ensuring high-quality product standards. They lead team members, handle opening/closing procedures (including cash management), and maintain a positive, "brand-perfect" environment. This role typically requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Models superior guest engagement, manages, and executes the "Guest Tour" to introduce products and drive sales.
• Bakery Operations: Partners with the Bakery Manager to oversee daily operations, including inventory control, product quality, and adherence to safety/sanitation standards.
• Team Leadership: Assists in training, coaching, and directing team members, as well as maintaining a positive work environment.
• Administrative Duties: Executes opening and closing procedures, balances cash drawers, makes bank deposits, and supports scheduling.
• Order Management: Co-manages special-order fulfillment, including corporate accounts and large, complex orders.
  

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to motivate a team.
• Ability to solve problems, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in food service, retail, or a leadership role is generally preferred.
