The opportunity

We are looking for an innovative Creative Director to lead our Creative + Brand efforts here at ngrok. This person will guide the look, feel, and tone of our marketing communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of digital, print, and experiential marketing mediums and best practices in the cloud infrastructure space. They will be a compelling storyteller, strategic thinker, brilliant executor, clear communicator and comfortable working on complex and early stage brands.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and implement a creative marketing vision for customer-facing initiatives across digital collateral, events, email campaigns, digital campaigns, social campaigns, web, print and other emerging channels
• Work closely with product marketing, content marketing, product designers, product managers and other internal stakeholders to ensure on-brand graphics and video style that aligns with the intended audience and message
• Form and guide beautiful visual solutions that align with ngrok’s brand voice and complement external narratives through photography, video, typography, color, and animation
• Establish best practices and innovative creative marketing solutions with a continuous pulse on current marketing trends in the social media, advertising and events spaces
• Develop clear, compelling, concise, and creative ways to tell the ngrok story

Skills

• 8+ years of content marketing experience as an art director or creative director
• A deep understanding of the developer, IT, and DevOps personas and technical audiences
• Strong portfolio that showcases a range of campaign types and creative expression across a range of mediums
• A compelling storyteller who can translate complex infrastructure problems into simple narratives and storylines

Benefits

Compensation for this role depends on level, but we provide a competitive mix of salary and equity.

We provide a 401(k) with a 100% match up to 3% of your salary and a 50% match up to another 2%.

We provide healthcare, dental, and vision with premiums fully covered on the base plan for employees. Half of premiums are covered for dependents. We also include long term disability, short term disability, and a term life policy at no cost to employees.

We offer unlimited PTO and a culture in which the overwhelming majority of employees take more than four weeks. Your manager will ensure you do the same.
